Brett Mondie is a country singer, songwriter, and producer carving out his own path under the big skies of Montana.

Born and raised in Alamance County, North Carolina, Brett grew up surrounded by southern roots, blue-collar grit, and a whole lot of music. He picked up a guitar early, found his voice not long after, and started turning stories into songs before he was old enough to drive.

He formed Fortune In The Sun in college—cutting his teeth in smoky bars and college towns across the Southeast—before heading west to Los Angeles to chase the solo path. There, he worked with Grammy-winning producer Jimmy Hoyson and Wings guitarist Lawrence Juber, learning the ropes from some of the best in the game.

Now calling Helena, Montana home, Brett’s played over 500 shows, recorded 15 albums, appeared on radio shows coast to coast, and built a loyal fanbase from the Carolinas to the Rockies.

When he’s not on stage, he’s home with his wife and three kids, writing about the things that matter: love, loss, family, and finding your way back to what’s real. His latest solo album “While You’re Young” is out June 17th 2025, and he’s currently on tour across Montana—bringing his stories to life one night, one crowd, and one song at a time.
